Get Rhizome Net 2.0 compliant

Posted by Joe Edit on July 4, 2008 11:50 am

What Rhizome really needs to become more Net 2.0 compliant is advertising.
Banner ads, little flash side ads, all those things that make template driven sites so attractive.
Remember the old days of Geocities and Tripod (Max Herman's http://www.geocities.com/genius-2000/ is it Net 2.0.)? Ugly scrolling ads etc.. Net 1.0 templates just didn't embed the ads as neatly and cleanly as the Net 2.0 templates.

Ads make a site look more professional, Forget the new , feature, give us commercials, then you can look like the pros.
